Baker's Goods:  The Finest Foods along the Flint!!

East Baker's Business Incubator and its public commercial kitchen wants you to find out how to start and build businesses, sell famous receipes and publish a cookbook!  The center is open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., M-F.  Call (229) 291-0466 for evening, weekend and holiday appointments.

     Born of a desire to preserve culture and sow seeds for the future Harvest, the East Baker Historical Society & 21st Century Community Corporation, Inc. is based at the former East Baker Elementary School, P.O. Box 738, 139 Roosevelt Ave., Newton, GA. The non-profit organization was incorporated in 2002 and is governed by a Board of Directors.
     The organization has a museum dedicated to pioneers who blazed trails with hopes of making a better way for the many, many generations that follow.  A Head-start program, Boys & Girls Club, Neighborhood Service Center, computer lab, banquet hall and conference rooms, among other aspects, are all a part of this magnificent gem in the heart of Baker County.  Contact us for booking your next engagement.  Commodities are periodically distributed as well:  Possibly in April, June & September.  Please look for public service announcements concerning all upcoming activities.
     Ample parking is available along with access to at least one kitchen, restrooms and center supervision.  Visit this one-stop-shop, let others know we are here to serve the public, and take advantage of the great opportunities associated with the East Baker Historical Society.
          Our very first of many $10 Cookbooks is  available!!  Those submitting entries can purchase one book for 1/2 price!!  Please place orders via telephone, fax, mail or e-mail.  Shipping is included and we are taking ideas, photos and recipes for future editions.
